To add a Highlighted Course page:

Body
  1. Create a Content Page.
  2. Add the relevant information for your course and save the page, but do not add it to a menu.
  3. Navigate to the homepage and add your highlighted course using the Content Slider paragraph type.

To create a highlighted course section on your homepage:

  1. If your home page does not have a Highlighted Courses section, add a new Paragraph and select “Content slider”

  2. Select a color from the “Section Background” dropdown. Content slider cards can either have a white or Illini blue background. Text and heading colors are set by the theme.

  3. Enter “Highlighted Courses” in the Section Title field
  4. The Section Subtitle field is optional and can be left blank.
  5. In the Cards Content section, click the "Choose File" button to upload an image to the Card Image field.

  6. Enter the title of your course in the Card Title field.
  7. Enter a brief, one or two sentence summary of the course in the Card Body field.
  8. Add a link to the page you just created by typing the title of the page in the URL field, then selecting the page title in the auto complete dropdown below.

  9. In the Link field add the course name and number for your link text (Ex. "ASTR 100" or "SPAN 326").
  10. To add additional content slider cards, click the “Add Cards Content” button to open up a new set of fields and add another highlighted course.

To add an additional highlighted course:

  1. If your Highlighted Courses section has already been created and has content, locate Content Slider in the Paragraph section of your page and click the “Edit” button to expand and edit the content.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of Cards Content and click the “Add Cards Content” button to add another highlighted course.

  3. In the new Cards Content section, click the "Choose File" button to upload an image to the Card Image field.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  4. Enter the title of your course in the Card Title field.

  7. To add additional content slider cards, click the “Add Cards Content” button to add another highlighted course.

To rearrange or remove highlighted courses:

  1. In the Paragraphs section of your page, you should see a button that says “Edit all”. Next to that button there are three vertical dots. Click on those dots to open up a dropdown with additional options.

  2. Click “Drag & drop” in this dropdown menu to switch to the drag and drop mode. Your paragraphs will now display in a more manageable list that can be easily rearranged. Click and hold the crosshairs icon next to the Cards Content you want to move, then drag the Cards Content section to the appropriate location.​​​​​​​

  3. When you are finished rearranging, click the “Complete drag & drop” button at the top of the Paragraph section to save your work and switch back to edit mode.​​​​​​​

  4. To delete a highlighted course, click the “Edit” button next to the Cards Content you wish to remove in order to expand that content.

  5. Click the “Remove” button in the very top right corner.​​​​​​​

  6. Then, click “Confirm removal”. This action cannot be undone.​​​​​​​
