Spotlight paragraphs are used to highlight staff, alumni, students, and publications. Uploaded images will be cropped into a circle shape. Spotlight paragraphs are styled the same way as a Spotlight Feature Block Reference, but the content is managed manually and not automatically updated.

This is a Spotlight paragraph that is formatted with a small photo and uses the white theme.
- Create the Paragraph: Scroll to the Paragraphs section, click the "Add paragraph" button, and select "Spotlight" from the list.
- Choose a Theme: Select a color scheme from the Theme dropdown:
- White: White background with orange headings and accents.
- Gray: Gray background with blue headings and accents.
- Choose a Format: Select an image size from the Format dropdown:
- Small: The image takes up about 33% of the width.
- Large: The image takes up about 50% of the width (Note: If the page has a sidebar layout, the image may appear slightly smaller than usual to fit the screen).
- Add Text (Optional):
- Title & Subtitle: If used, note that the Subtitle will display above the Title.
- Body: Use this for text and links only.
- Add a Button (Optional): You may add one button to this section.
- Both a URL and Link Text are required.
- Internal Link: Type the name of an existing website page and select it from the autocomplete dropdown.
- Image
- External Link: Copy and paste the full web address (including https://) into the URL field.
- Link text: This is the text that will display on your button. Link text should be brief, but descriptive, and clearly convey its purpose when read out of context.
- Upload an Image: Click upload to add an image.
- Size requirement: Images must be at least 450px wide by 450px high.
Setting the Focal Point: The system will automatically crop your image into a circle. To ensure the subject of your photo isn't cut off, click on the image or drag the crosshair icon to the most important part of the photo (like a person's face).

- Add Alternative (Alt) Text: Briefly describe what is happening in the photo for visually impaired users who use screen readers. (e.g., "Two students working in the chemistry lab")
