  • Background can be Illini blue, gray, or white
  • Title for vertical tab group is optional
  • Titles for individual vertical tabs are required and should be unique
  • Body content is required and should be no more than one or two paragraphs
  • There is no limit to the number of vertical tab panels you can have

College-level advising

The LAS Student Academic Affairs Office supports the academic, personal, and professional development of every student. Through academic advising, we promote inclusive dialogue, recognize diverse experiences, encourage students to design their life and career, and to take responsibility for their success.

Departmental advising

Advising for students who have declared a major. Every LAS department has at least one academic advisor to assist its students. Plan on visiting your advisor before you register for classes each semester.

Tutoring and academic support

LAS departments offer workshops to help students succeed in their coursework. Some workshops are designed for students to prepare for college-level exams. Others help students navigate a specific sequence of courses or explore topics such as mindfulness.
